On July 21, 2023, the New Jersey State Police with the Office of the Attorney General established a new training program for applicants who are applying for, or renewing, a permit to carry a handgun, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 58-4(g)(1) and (g)(2). See also N.J.S.A. 2C:58-4(d)(3).
